Central West About Us & Contacts

Landcare in the Central West
The Central West Catchment is located in central western NSW and includes the Castlereagh, Bogan and Macquarie River valleys. The catchment covers an area of 8.5 million hectares from the tablelands around Oberon, Bathurst and Rylstone to the western plains of Nyngan and Coonamble.
There are 73 active Landcare and NRM groups across the Central West catchment focusing on a range of issues from native bush regeneration and protection, to sustainable farming practices.
