Shells Shells Shells - North Narrabeen
As part of its July school holiday program, Pittwater Council's Coastal Environment Centre is hosting
We all know shells are beautiful, but there is much more than meets the eye. Shells are homes, shells provide protection, they hold food and are used for disguise... some shells have traps doors, some are carnivores, some are herbivores. Kids will go outdoors and explore the beach to discover the wonderful world of shells that wash up on these shores. Who lives in them? What happens to them overtime? We'll then return to the 'Kids on the Coast' lab at the Centre to look at these amazing shell designs through microscopes.
The cost is $20 a session and $55 for a full day. Please click here for more details on the Pittwater Council website.
