Register on the National Landcare Directory by 6/9/2010 to be eligible for a prize!

The new National Landcare Directory has been launched by Landcare Australia Ltd, who is encouraging all groups involved in volunteer community environment projects to register on the Directory.

Please note, if you had registered details on the old Directory, you will need to reenter them on the new Directory if you still want them to appear.

Landcare, Coastcare/Dunecare, Bushcare, sustainable farming, "Friends of" and rivercare groups are all encouraged to register, as well as schools, scouts and other youth groups undertaking Junior Landcare activities.

Landcare Australia will offer twenty $1000 grants for groups that register by 6 September 2010, the first day of Landcare Week. The winning grant recipients will be selected at random from from the database and announced on the Landcare Australia website.

To register on the National Landcare Directory, please go to Landcare Australia's website at www.landcareonline.com.au and click the link in the brown "Quick Links" box on the right hand side of the site.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have registered or updated your details on the old National Landcare Directory, then you are advised to check your details and reenter them on the new Directory.

Most group details, with the exception of group names and website links have not been transfered from the old Directory.
