Lake Macquarie Landcare

A Lake Macquarie Landcare Field Day will be held at Floraville Ridge & Rainforest Landcare site, off Coronet Close Floraville on, Sunday 26th September 2010, 9am to 12pm.

The Field Day will include a tour of the site where you may experience some of the native fauna that occupy the site such as the Powerful Owl or Satin Bowerbird. Winsome Lambkin, coordinator of the Floraville group, will guide the tour through the most significant areas of the site, describing the work undertaken to regenerate this special environment.

The Field Day will celebrate the completion of a 3-year NSW Government Environmental Trust grant that provided funds for professional bush regenerators to assist the Landcare group to clear weeds from the site.
