The First Millimetre: Healing the Earth

Date:
10 Mar 2010 - 5:30pm

This documentary film will be screened by Hastings Landcare at Wauchope on 10 March 2010, at 6.30 pm.

The film presents one solution to global warming: sequestering carbon in grasslands worldwide and reveals the powerful role that healthy land plays in the fight against global warming.

The film features ranchers and farmers managing holistically, explaining how grazing animals and working with nature can return the earth to health.

The film was shot partly on the northern tablelands and mid north coast of NSW and features interviews with Australian scientists Christine Jones and Judi Earl.

The American Public Broadcasting Service film, released late last year, runs for about 90 minutes, highlighting holistic management practice around the world.

Where? - Wauchope Water Treatment Plant (Rosewood Rd, Rosewood).

Bookings - Hastings Landcare 02 6586 4465.
